Season 3 is hands down my favorite season. Some of the best arcs of the whole show are in this season in my opinion. Daenerys conquering Slaver's Bay (especially Astapor),The Red Wedding,Jaime and Brienne developing their friendship,Ramsay being introduced and the start of Theon's path to redemption. If I had to rewrite the title, I'd say "I believe GOT season 6 was the second worst season yet." There are a lot of bad TV shows out there, and this season was, at worst, mediocre. "Bad" may not give respect all the positive elements of the season, but "second worst" gives more context. 3. itsfoine. There may not be another show ever like GoT. The first season is a master class. HotD is a very good show, and is certainly one of the best shows on television right now (if not the best). First season is pretty rough, but the show as a whole is top tier. I know this doesn't answer your question, but you should probably consider skipping all the violence too if you're worries kids might see it. Therefore, you probably shouldn't be watching Game of Thrones in public. The violence in game of thrones isn't so bad though. I guess not in Season 1.
